Ask Chancellor Annora head (You're suppose to ask her head? What are you trying to say, Lance?) (don't need to be in the room for Goru-Nezar's death - just get the head one way or another)

  1. Go to Annora and speak to her
  2. Kill Goru-Nezar and take his head
    TO GET A DRAGON KEY, collect the different colored fangs from the mobs around the door (send mega to the prismatic dragon room first). Then, at the dragon carving door:

    insert blue fang
    insert red fang
  3. Give his head to Chancellor Annora.

Talk with Chancellor Annora after you have completed the 1st Good Quest. (ask Annora missions) She will tell you that she needs you to fetch her the head of the evil demon lord, Goru-Nezar. So gather up some buddies. (Four or five Lvl 25+ at least) Fight your way through the Ironwood forest and into the Ancient Ruins. Locate the Goru-Nezar, lop off his head and return to Chancellor Annora. (ask annora head - of course you realize this is easier said than done.) If sucessfull you should get a Status increase and 100k exp.

Third - Level 30, 7.5 mill exp, chest

  1. Ask Chancellor Annora “missions”.
  2. Find King Kulgar in khazarad, ask him “business” and “accept”.
  3. Find Loremaster Thulgraf and ask him “permission” and “demons”.
  4. Kill the metallic monstrosity and take the gleaming shard he drops.
  5. Find Master Smith Martok in khazarad, ask him “forge”, your gleaming shard will become a gleaming dagger. You may make more daggers for party members but if they are questing themselves, they need to forge it themselves.
  6. Find gnome enchantress and ask her “dagger”, and “enchant”, your gleaming dagger will become an enchanted dagger. Again you can make
    extra daggers.
  7. Kill the spectral knight (using the enchanted dagger to attack), when he dies your enchanted dagger will become a Spirit Dagger of Goijar (only if you are involved in the quest). You can kill him again later with another enchanted dagger to make more spirit daggers.
  8. Kill Gulgulthra (using the spirit dagger), the dagger will disappear.
  9. Return to King Kulgar, ask him “return”.
  10. Return to Chancellor Annora, ask her “success”.

    Note: Metallic Monstrosity drops one gleaming shard per kill (100% drop rate). You will need to kill it multiple times for all characters performing the quest to receive enough shards to make into gleaming daggers.
  5. Ask Master Smith Martok (Khazard) forge to receive a gleaming dagger
    Note: Everyone on the quest must ask Master Smith Martok, there is an abils flag on weapon creation.
  6. Ask Gnome Enchantress (Gnome Village) enchant to turn your gleaming dagger into an enchanted dagger
  7. Kill Spectral Knight (Graveyard) with the enchanted dagger to receive a Spirit Dagger of Goijar
    Note: MegaMud users are suggested to "run" to the Spectral Knight due to lever pull timings. Stopping to attack monsters may result in a timed entrance closing before you reach it.
    Note: You must have an enchanted dagger in your inventory to receive the Spirit Dagger of Goijar.
  8. Kill Gulgulthra (Dwarven/Mithril Mines) with the Spirit Dagger of Goijar.
    Note: Everyone performing the quest must have a Spirit Dagger of Goijar in their inventory
  9. Ask King Kulgar return
  10. Ask Chancellor Annora (Rocky Trail) success
You will receive a gold chest to open and 500,000 Experience.

  8. Ask King Kulgar return
  9. Ask Chancellor Annora success
  10. Congratulations, that is (IMO) the longest and most annoying (though not particularly difficulty) quest in the game.
    You will get a chest to open and 500K Exp
From MudVille:
  1. Return to Chancellor Annora
  2. Greet Annora
  3. Ask Annora Missions
  4. Visit King Kulgar in Khazarad, and ask Business
  5. Visit the Loremaster, greet him, and ask permission
  6. Ask the Loremaster about the demons
  7. Go to Champion Gudruk, greet him, and ask him about demons
  8. Go to Master Smith Martok and ask about mithril
  9. Kill the Metallic Monstrosity, and take the gleaming shard
  10. Ask Master Smith Martok to forge a dagger for you from the shard.
  11. Take the dagger to the Gnome Enchantress to be enchanted
  12. Kill the Spectral Knight, and capture his spirit in the dagger.
  13. Use the Spirit Dagger of Goijar to kill Gulgulthra
  14. Return to the King, and tell him of your success. You will need about 2,000 encumbrance free for your treasure chest.
    vReturn to Annora, and ask her for a reward.

Fourth - Level 40, 30 mill exp, class cloak

Update 2016 from syntax: There are no quest flags changed from the time you complete the 3rd align quest up until you kill the DP. While the steps below help you get to the Dark Phoenix, all you actually need to do after completing the 3rd quest (internal quest flag wise), is be in the room when the DP dies (and be the right alignment!).

  1. Ask Chancellor Annora “missions”.
  2. Get to Lost City using sys go or the normal method if unavailable.
  3. Path to Aged Earth Dragon entrance, the next path you take you will hit him within a few rooms so be ready, everyone needs a phoenix feather or magma amulet.
  4. If you have a polished key, path straight to Dark Phoenix. If you don’t have a polished key, path to the large red demonling and kill it, but you need a red rock key to get there. If you don’t have a red rock key you need to loop the volcano west or eastside loop and kill the mobs there until a red rock key drops. Path to the Dark Phoenix.
  5. Collect a feathered key which drops from the giant efreeti’s right outside the Phoenix’s door.
  6. Kill the Dark Phoenix while good-aligned and have as few buffs as possible before going in or you may miss the quest. Try for no more than 5 to be safe.
  7. Return to Chancellor Annora and ask her “foe”.

Fifth - Level 50, 175 mill exp, class weapon/spell

  1. Ask Chancellor Annora “missions”.
  2. Find Pastor Lander and ask him about “annora”.
  3. Find Justice Darkbane and ask him about “pastor”.
  4. Right before Oz's room, disable auto hang and/or set hangups to 0% health. If you die, someone will carry your gear. If you auto hangup, you will be teleported out of the area when you relog, forcing you to start over.
  5. Find and kill Ozrinom the Vampire Lord, this requires a strong party with roomer(s) and healer(s), modify Mega's default attack order because it’s all wrong for doing this room, if you want to succeed, then change the monsters to the following in game data/monsters. Look for items that negate the deeply bite spell, especially on the party tank. Deeply bite can insta-kill players < lvl 50 so don’t bring them.
    • FIRST: Elder (roomer)
    • HIGH: Ozrinom (boss), Magus (caster)
    • NORMAL: Acolyte (caster)
    • LOW: Minion (melee)
    • LAST: Fledgling (melee), Mist (wimps)
  6. Once Ozrinom is dead, “tip coffin” and the Death Mist of Ozrinom will appear. Kill it too, don’t be 10-spelled, if you succeed you’ll get text and have the item “massive black gem”.
  7. Return to Pastor Lander and ask him about “gem”.
  8. Find the old hermit in arlysia, ask him “gift”. He will give you a jagged bone key.
  9. Path to the rotting beholder (If using Winter's paths, you will end up right outside of his room. Go SW [hidden exit] to fight the beholder), kill it. Take the rotted tongue and eye, then “pull lever”.
  10. Greet the old man. Ask him “old man”, “prophecy”, “dark fold”, then “portal”.
  11. Walk a few steps in a circle to the Hideous Face (Manually walk S, S, SE, E, NE, N, N). “place eye in socket”, then “place tongue in hole”. A mirror portal will be summoned. Make the party “@go portal”.
  12. Regroup and go north for the first room of wraith knights. It is very dark, rooming really helps. Going through the portal strips you of all team buffs. Make sure to rebuff before fighting the wraith knights
  13. Go W, S, SE, S from the first wraith room. Walk this by hand. Wraiths cast a long knockdown so make sure all teammates are ready before moving. There will be a second room of wraith knights. Kill them and healup, then go west through a hidden exit and kill the colossal midnight dragon. After that kill the tapestry, once it is dead and is a neutral item in the room, healup and rest, then make the party “@go tapestry”. This will remove all buffs, regroup and kill the Dark Mage (you may want to make a macro that makes everyone go portal, then re-invites everyone).
  14. ***optional is to go portal and kill Zanthus from here (note anyone who dies at the Dark Mage will have their items scattered between rooms 1-10 of map 17)
  15. Return to Chancellor Annora, ask her “knowledge”.

  2. Yes, he just asked you to kill Ozrinom. Want a tissue? Head to whitewood forest talk to justice darkbane about it. He basically tells you he's not gonna be the only good aligned ghost soon. He's a big help, isn't he?
  3. Time to get the gem. This is VERY important... contrary to apparently popular belief, the gem you need is NOT the large black gem in the treasure room. That is a fake meant to fool you, and worse yet it's no drop and loyal. So it's gonna be encumbering you and laughing at you until you reroll. To get the proper gem, go to Ozrinom the Vampire Lord, and kill him and his elder vampires. Feel badass. Everybody rest up and spell up. Somebody tip coffin. Everybody own the mist. Better do it quick, and ruby bracers are handy because this bastard has got a SERIOUS drain fetish. Upto 65 room drain and 130 single target, and he gets 8 shots a round. Have fun. *snicker*
  4. Ask pastor gem. HAHAHA, good, you deserved that ass kicking for making me kill Ozrinom. Thank the evils in your party. They probably did it.

Well I have read many of the posts here and it seems many people are
having a hard time with this quest, myself included. So I decided to not
hoarde info, I play on a non-pvp board so blame that. Some of the info is
gonna be incomplete as silly me did not cut and paste every detail. Point in
fact I may have done some out of order (sigh), so I am gonna post what seems
to be the worst part for everyone. The Maus.

Here are a few tips first though.
Bring a healer, actually if you can bring 2.
Bring a couple room casters
Hit hard and dodge alot.
Some of these rooms are very nasty btw.

Anywho, if ya are lvl 20 and try this don't cry about it you've been told be
HIGH lvl first. I took a lvl 50 and a lvl 48 and we made it, but it hurt,
ALOT.

In order to get to this point you have to talk to Annora, the Pastor the
Inquisitor and the Ghost in the White Forest. From there here it goes.
To the graveyard east of the town. Go to center of the graveyard and push
button at the warrior statue to enter the mausoleum. You have to run to the
south most room and twist the sword then move jaw, now run to northernmost
room to twist sword and move jaw. Then run back to the altar room and see
your secret entrance to the east.

Now comes the fun part. These rooms are VERY dark. Nekojin with carved ivory
and skull mask could not see. Although adding a moonlamp to the mix did
brighten things up a bit. Now to give you an idea as to what is in there
here is a cap of it:

Treasure Room
Dust chokes the air here, thick as fog. Though it is hard to see clearly in this room it is plain to see the many treasures that have laid here undisturbed for ages. It is hard to say who it used to belong to, but you are reminded of the many stories of stealing from hallowed ground.
You notice adamantite chest, silver box, large black gem, oak chest here. Also here: stitched zombie, stitched zombie, stitched zombie, stitched zombie, stitched zombie, stitched zombie, stitched zombie, fierce stitched zombie, small stitched zombie, stitched zombie, large stitched zombie, large stitched
zombie, nasty stitched zombie, stitched zombie, small stitched zombie.
Obvious exits: southwest

Don't bother with the chests, they are immobile. I just grabbed the gem,
hopefully that was the right step.

Upon leaving the room to the sw you get hit by a very nasty trap also.
Near instant regen too.
Now go back and I simply twisted all options on both of the statues the
sword, the jaw and the hand. If you do the south first then do the north
then go s,s,nw,sw,sw,sw,s,s,s then take the secret stairs down to the 2nd
lvl.

On this level it is actually very easy, the map is almost identical to the
1st floor but reversed and upside down. Hre are step by step direction for
this level.

S,ne,ne,e,e,se,se,sw,sw,e,search n, n,n,w,w, push eye (or twist sword) then
e,e,e,e and then push eye (or twist sword) Now run like a bat outta hell to
the southern end, head east and then north to find the stairs down.
The labby level. I don't want ot totally ruin it but anyways you have to
navigate the labby to get to the riddle:

Lose this and become nothing,

It does not matter in the end.
Answer is life.

Next riddle:

After this you will find the Big O guy, he is tough and has plenty of
friends with him. After you kill him he drops some nifty items, no idea what
they do though:

Sword of Ozirnom
Bleeding Main-Gauche
Some other stuff too.

Now at this point you exit the game and log back in, you are at the top of
the maus.

***NOTE*** If you redo the statues to get to the treasure room there is
another gem here. Guess what you can grab it and now have TWO loyal cursed
items on ya (yeah yeah yeah I was dumb to grab em lol).
This is as far as I've gotten. For some reasons the old hermit didn't want
my gift (bastard) and the pastor just prays when I ask him about the gem. So
if anyone knows what I missed or need to do please tell.

Clarified Good 3 Quest notes:

1) Ask King Kulgar (Khazard) business
2) Ask King Kulgar accept
3) Ask Loremaster Thulgraf (Khazard) demons
4) Kill Metallic Monstrosity (Dragon's Teeth Hills) and pick up the gleaming shard
4a) Note: Metallic Monstrosity drops one gleaming shard per kill (100% drop rate). You will need to kill it multiple times for all characters performing the quest to receive enough shards to make into gleaming daggers.
5) Ask Master Smith Martok (Khazard) forge to receive a gleaming dagger
5a) Note: Everyone on the quest must ask Master Smith Martok, there is an abils flag on weapon creation.
6) Ask Gnome Enchantress (Gnome Village) enchant to turn your gleaming dagger into an enchanted dagger
7) Kill Spectral Knight (Graveyard) with the enchanted dagger to receive a Spirit Dagger of Goijar
7a) Note: MegaMud users are suggested to "run" to the Spectral Knight due to lever pull timings. Stopping to attack monsters may result in a timed entrance closing before you reach it.
7b) Note: You must have an enchanted dagger in your inventory to receive the Spirit Dagger of Goijar.
8) Kill Gulgulthra (Dwarven/Mithril Mines) with the Spirit Dagger of Goijar.
8a) Note: Everyone performing the quest must have a Spirit Dagger of Goijar in their inventory
9) Ask King Kulgar return
10) Ask Chancellor Annora (Rocky Trail) success

You will receive a gold chest to open and 500,000 Experience.

  5. Visit the Loremaster, greet him, and ask permission
  6. Ask the Loremaster about the demons
  7. Go to Champion Gudruk, greet him, and ask him about demons
  8. Go to Master Smith Martok and ask about mithril
  9. Kill the Metallic Monstrosity, and take the gleaming shard
  10. Ask Master Smith Martok to forge a dagger for you from the shard.
  11. Take the dagger to the Gnome Enchantress to be enchanted
  12. Kill the Spectral Knight, and capture his spirit in the dagger.
  13. Use the Spirit Dagger of Goijar to kill Gulgulthra
  14. Return to the King, and tell him of your success. You will need about 2,000 encumbrance free for your treasure chest.
    vReturn to Annora, and ask her for a reward.

I have some tweaks to the 5th Good Quest 'recently updated by Ravyn' to make it more accurate / effective. I script in the Maso and have done the 5th quest (all alignments) dozens of times.

Suggested Changes

Vampire Priorities:
FIRST: Elder (roomer)
HIGH: Ozrinom (boss), Magus (caster)
NORMAL: Acolyte (caster)
LOW: Minion (melee)
LAST: Fledgling (melee), Mist (wimps)

Additions/ Changes:
- Right before Oz's room, disable auto hang and/or set hangups to 0% health. If you die, someone will carry your gear. If you auto hangup, you will be teleported out of the area when you relog, forcing you to start over.
Once Ozrinom is dead, “tip coffin” and the Death Mist of Ozrinom will appear. Kill it too, don’t be 10-spelled, if you succeed you’ll get text and have the item “massive black gem”.

- If using Winter's paths, you will end up right outside of his room. Go SW (hidden exit) to fight the beholder
Path to the rotting beholder , kill it. Take the rotted tongue and eye, then “pull lever”.

- Manually walk S, S, SE, E, NE, N, N
Walk a few steps in a circle to the Hideous Face. “place eye in socket”, then “place tongue in hole”. A mirror portal will be summoned. Make the party “@go portal”.

- Going through the portal strips you of all team buffs. Make sure to rebuff before fighting the wraith knights
Regroup and go north for the first room of wraith knights. It is very dark, rooming really helps.

- Actually it's W, S, SE, S from the first wraith room. Walk this by hand. Wraiths cast a long knockdown so make sure all teammates are ready before moving
Go north and west and south, there will be a second room of wraith knights. Kill them and healup..
